NOTIFICATION
Whereas, Sanipeyarchi Festival at Arulmighu Dharbaranyeswaraswamy Devasthanam, Thirunallar in Karaikal District is scheduled to be celebrated on 16-12-2014;
And whereas, it is essential to ensure security and maintain Law and Order all over the region for peaceful celebration of the festival;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by rules 199 (A) (1) (ii) of the Puducherry Excise Rules, 1970, the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), Karaikal hereby directs that all the toddy, arrack and liquor shops (FL1 & FL2) including bars in Karaikal District shall remain closed as scheduled hereunder:
In Thirunallar region . . 15-12-2014 to 17-12-2014 (Both days inclusive) In other region of Karaikal . . 16-12-2014 District
