NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to enhance the quantum of financial assistance granted to the scheduled castes for funeral rites and for the said purpose hereby makes the following amendment to the "Grant of Financial Assistance to Scheduled Castes to Perform Funeral Rites Rules, 1982" notified in G.O. Ms. No. l25/82-HEW (HW), dated 10-11-1982 of Health, Electricity and Works Department, Puducherry and published in the Gazette No. 49, dated 7-12-1982 of Government of Puducherry (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), namely:—

AMENDMENT
In rule 4 of the said rules, for the words and figures "Rs. 5,000
(Rupees five thousand only)", the words and figures "` 10,000 (Rupees
ten thousand only)" shall be substituted.
2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with
effect from the date of issue of this notification.
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department
vide U.O. No. 2836/F5/A2, dated 19-12-2014.

NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to enhance the
quantum of financial assistance granted to scheduled caste members who
are unable to work for their earning due to prolonged diseases under
the Scheme "Grant of Financial Assistance to the Scheduled Caste
patients suffering from prolonged diseases Rules, 2001" and for the said Extraordinary Gazette Part-I, No. 150, dated 30-10-2001 of the
Government of Puducherry (hereinafter referred to as the said rules),
namely:—

AMENDMENT
In the said rules, in rule 5, for the words and figures "Rs. 500 (Rupees
five hundred only)", the words and figures "` 2,000 (Rupees two
thousand only)" shall be substituted.
2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with
effect from the date of issue of this notification.
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department
vide U.O. No. 2839/F5/A2, dated 19-12-2014.
