NOTIFICATION
The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to make the
following amendment to the scheme for supply of balanced cattle/calf
feed at 75% subsidy to the milk pouring members of Milk Co-operative
Societies in the Union ter ritory of Puducherry which has been
notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 3, dated 3rd day of December 2013 of the
Chief Secretariat (Cooperation), Government of Puducherry and published
in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 48, dated 6th December 2013, namely:—

AMENDMENT
In the scheme for supply of balanced cattle/calf feed at 75%
subsidy to the milk pouring members of Milk Co-operative Societies
in the Union territory of Puducherry (hereinafter referred to as the said
scheme).–
1. In clause 3(e) of the said scheme, for the existing clause,
the following shall be substituted, namely:–
"(e) "Eligible members" means those members supplying not
less than monthly average of 3 litres of milk per day to the Milk
Co-operative Societies".
2. In clause 6 of the said scheme, for the existing clause, the
following shall be substituted, namely:-
"6. Eligibility.— (a) Members of the Milk Co-operative
Societies having cross bred milch cows and supplying milk
regularly to the Milk Co-operative Societies not less than monthly
average of 3 litres of milk per day are only eligible under this
scheme.
(b) The quantum of cattle/calf feed shall be supplied to each
eligib le member at 75 % subsid ized rate with the r ange fr om
50 kg. to 150 kg. per month based on their supp ly of milk to
the Milk Co-operative Societies, as detailed below:-
Monthly average of milk supplied Quantum of cattle/calf feed
to milk Co-operative Societies shall be supplied at

3. In clause 7 of the said scheme, for the existing clause,
the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"7. Pattern of assistance.—The assistance is in the form of
kind. The balanced cattle/calf feed is supplied to an eligible member
of the Milk Co-operative Societies at 75% of subsidized rate with
the range from 50 kg. to 150 kg. per month based on their supply
of milk to the Milk Co-operative Societies."
4. The notification shall come into force on and from the date of
its publication in the official gazette of Government of Puducherry.
5. The other clauses in the said scheme shall remain unaltered.
6. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department
vide their I.D. No. 3402/F5/A2, dated 24-2-2015.
