3. The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is hereby pleased to order that I.A.S. Probationers deputed to this Union Territory Administration have to undergo training as Special Judicial Magistrate in the Puducherry/Karaikal District as part of the District Training from the date of assumption of office.

4. After appointment as Special Judicial Magistrate by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras under section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the I.A.S. Probationer shall complete the training as Special Judicial Magistrate to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry and the powers conferred on him may be withdrawn as and when the officer completes his training. He shall record the evidences/write judgements and pass orders in English.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) o f sectio n 7 0 o f the Fo o d Safety and Stand ar d s Act, 2006 (34 of 2006), the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry is pleased to establish a Food Safety Appellate Tribunal, with jurisdiction over, the entire Union territory of Puducherry to hear appeals from the decisions of the Adjudicating Officer under section 68 and for the proper implemention of the Food Safety and Standard Act and the rules made thereunder.

The notice of voluntary retirement given under rule 48 of the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972 by Thiru T. NOTICE OF SALE OF LAND

It is hereby notified that the undermentioned lands selected out of those attached in satisfaction of arrears of Commercial Tax and penalty amount due by M/s. Manakula Vinayagar Petro Agencies, Maducarai, Puducherry the present registered land holder and a revenue defaulter will be sold by public auction on 15th day of April 2015 (or other day to which the sale may be adjourned), at the following place and time and the lands will be knocked down to the highest bidder.

Place : In front of the M/s. Manakula Vinayagar Petro Agencies, Maducarai in the village of Maducarai in the Revenue village of Maducarai of Bahour Taluk of the region.

Time : 11.00 a.m.

2. The current revenue payable by the purchaser on the land for the whole (or remainder, as the case may be) of the current fasli in ` 11,72,51,886 along with 12% accrued interest thereon, the arrears as shown in detail in the statement at foot.

3. Purchasers will be required to deposit 15% of the purchase money at the time of sale, and if they fail to pay the remainder of the purchase money within 30 days from the day of sale, the money deposited by them shall be liable to forfeiture.

4. When such deposit shall not be made, nor the remaining purchase money paid up the lands will be resold at the expense and risk of the first purchaser.

5. Persons bidding at a sale may be required to state whether they bid on their own account or as agents, and in the latter case to deposit a written authority signed by their principals, otherwise, their bids may be rejected.

6. The sale shall be stayed if the defaulter or other person acting on his behalf or claiming an interest in the land tenders the full amount of the arrears of revenue with interest and other charges, provided such tender be made before sunset on the day previous to that appointed for the sale.

7. The sale will not be final, until confirmed by the Collector or other officer empowered in that behalf, and a period of thirty days will be allowed between sale and confirmation to admit of parties aggrieved by any proceedings in connection with such sales presenting appeals. On confirmation of the sale, the lands will be registered in the name of the purchaser and a certificate of sale signed and sealed by the Collector will be granted to him.

8. It is to be distinctly understood that Government are not responsible for errors either in the description of the lands or in their estimated extent.

9. Purchasers will also understand that the assessment payable to Government on the land will be liable to alteration at any general revision of the land revenue settlement of the district.

It is hereby notified that the undermentioned lands selected out of those attached in satisfaction of arrears of land revenue due by Thiru A.Srikanth, S/o. Annamalai, Tmt. Kalyanasundari, W/o. Annamalai (Surety), proprietor of M/s. Bharat Petroleum Agencies, Kirumampakkam of the present registered landholder and a revenue defaulter will be sold by public auction of 2nd day of April 2015 (or other day to which the sale may be adjourned), at the following place and time and the lands will be knocked down to the highest bidder.

Place: Taluk Office, Oulgaret, ECR Road, Kottupalayam, Puducherry on 2-4-2015 at 11.00 a.m. 2. The current revenue payable by the purchaser on the land for the whole (or remainder, as the case may be) of the current fasli in ` 5,29,27,448 along with 12% interest per annum as shown in detail in the statement at foot.

3. The intending bidder desiring to participate in the auction process should submit demand draft drawn in the name of the Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Oulgaret payable at Puducherry for an amount not less than 2% of the upset price quoted in column (7) of the Table below. The demand draft shall be drawn in any of the Scheduled Bank. The demand draft shall be drawn on or before 1-4-2015. The intending bidder should also submit identity and residence proof alongwith demand draft.
