2. The tenders superscribed as "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers" should be addressed in a sealed covers to the undersigned so as to reach this office before 3.30 p.m. on 30-6-2015. The received tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of those tenderers or their representatives whoever present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of Rs. 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest money deposit before submitting their tenders. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the finalisation of the tender.

4. The newspapers may be inspected during office hours on any working day.

5. No claims on the quality and quantity of the article will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

6. The successful tenderer should remove the old newspapers at his own cost within 24 hours of acceptance of his tender after remitting the total cost of newspapers and sales tax thereon at the prevailing rate. The successful tenderer should make his own arrangements to weigh the old newspapers.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to reject/accept any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
