GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT SECRETARIAT [G.O. Ms. No. 12/2015-WCD(SW-IV)., dated 17th August 2015] NOTIFICATION The Hon'ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to enhance the amount of grant from ` 20,000 to ` 25,000 under the "Grant of Marriage Allowance" towards the marriage of daughters of Destitute Widows Rules, 1981 notified in G.O. Ms. No. 73/81-HEW(SW) of the Health, Electricity and Works Department, dated 6th April 1981 and published in the Extraordinary Official Gazette No. 19, dated 12th May 1981 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) and for the said purpose, the Hon'ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry hereby makes the following further amendment to the said rules, namely:— [ 439 ]

AMENDMENT

"` 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only)" the words and figures

"` 25,000 (Rupees twenty-five thousand only) shall be substituted.

2. This amendment shall be deemed to have come into force with

effect from the date of publication of notification in the official

gazette.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

Puducherry vide their U.O. No. 1810/F5/A2, dated 31-7-2015.
