GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT SECRETARIAT [G.O.Ms. No. 16/2015-WCD(SW-IV), dated 14th September 2015] NOTIFICATION The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to enhance the quantum of financial assistance to raise the status of girl children and for the said purpose hereby makes further amendment to the "Rules for Grant of incentives to the family having one girl/two girl children and parents who have undergone Family Planning" (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) notified vide G.O. Ms. 14/2007-Wel(SW-IV), dated 29-3-2007 of the Chief Secretariat (Welfare), Puducherry and published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary, Part-II, No. 17, dated 2nd April 2007, namely:— [ 515 ]

Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the "Grant of incentive to the family having one girl/two girl children and parents who have undergone family planning ( Amendment) Rules, 2015".

AMENDMENT

I n the said rules, in r ule 5, fo r the figur es " ` 2 0,0 0 0 and

` 10,000", the figures "` 30,000 and ` 15,000" shall be substituted".

2. This amendment shall come into force on and from the date of

its publication in the official gazette.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

vide their U.O. No. 2084/F5/A2, dated 24-8-2015.
