2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the District Registrar, Registration Department, Saram, P ud uc he r r y d u ly s up er sc r i b i ng o n th e en ve lo p e , as "Tender for purchase of old newspapers, waste papers and scrap materials (plastic and metal)" and sent to reach the undersigned on or before 12.00 noon. on 12-11-2015. The tenders will be opened at 3.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenders who are present in the Office of the District Registrar, Registration Department, Saram, Puducherry.
3. The intending tenderers should depo sit a n amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as e a r n e s t mo n e y deposit.
4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately soon after the tender is over.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
7. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount immediately as and when call made and clear the old items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
8. No claim on the quantity and quality for the old newspapers, waste papers and old articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.
9. In case, if any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
10. Sales tax/CST will be collected for the old newspapers and scrap materials as per the prevailing rules.
