PUBLIC NOTICE
Whereas, one Thiru D.Ananda Sam Sankar, Owner, Publisher and Editor of "Namadhu Manasatchi" Tamil News Magazine, No. 39, Vasantham Street, Jeyam Nagar, Mudaliarpet, Puducherry-605 004 has been involved in a criminal case with M.C. No. 227/2015 under section 108 of Cr.P.C. which deals with security for good behaviour from persons disseminating seditious matters;
2. Whereas, on the basis of the materials produced before this Court and on satisfaction that there is sufficient ground for proceeding under this section, the above named D. Ananda Sam Sankar was called upon to enter into a bond for good behaviour for a period of 1 year or until the completion of enquiry in the matter with further condition to execute the said bond with two sureties;
3. Whereas, the above named D. Ananda Sam Sankar on 25-1-2016 entered into a bond to be of good behaviour to Government and all the citizens of India for the term of one year or until the completion of the enquiry in this matter with further u n d e r t a k i n g t h a t i n c a s e o f h i s m a k i n g d e f a u l t t h e r e i n , h e wo u l d f o r f e i t to Government a sum of ` 2,00,000 (Rupees two lakhs only);
LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 182 1824. Whereas, one Thiru Mohandass, S/o. Ezhumalai, Mariamman Koil Street, Kirumampakkam, Puducherry and Tmt. Amsavalli, W/o. Thangarasu, No.10, East Street, Old Saram, Puducherry have declared themselves as sureties for the above named D. Ananda Sam Sankar that he will be of good behaviour to Government and all the citizens of India for the term of one year or until the completion of the enquiry in this matter and that in case of his making default therein, they bound themselves jointly and severally to forfeit to Government a sum of ` 2,00,000;
5. Whereas, the above named D. Ananda Sam Sankar having bound himself through a personal bond with two sureties to maintain good behaviour to the Government and all the citizens of India for the term of one year or until the completion of the enquiry in this matter, it is necessary in public interest to notify to the Government and all the citizens of India to keep a watch and report on the breach of bond, if any, by D. Ananda Sam Sankar, as per bond executed by him and the two sureties for keeping good behaviour; and
6. Now, therefore, the Government/Citizens of India are called upon to report to this Court any breach of the above bond (Bond for good behaviour) committed by D. Ananda Sam Sankar, Owner, Publisher and Editor of "Namadhu Manasatchi" any time during the bond period of one year or until the completion of enquiry for taking further necessary action as per provisions of section 122(1) (b) Cr.P.C which provides for arrest and detention in prison until the expiry of the period of the bond and further liable for forfeiture of the bond amount.
