TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rates per lots of old/condemned furniture, deadstock items and other items available in the following Government Primary Schools under the control of Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-II, Puducherry for sale by the undersigned in as-is-where-is condition.

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated vide G.O.Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry shall submit the award within 3 months from t h e d a t e of issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section 2-A of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the order of reference and also forward a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite parties involved in the dispute.

( a ) W h e t h e r t h e d i s p u t e r a i s e d b y T h i r u V. E z h u m a l a i a g a i n s t t h e m a n a g e m e n t o f M/s. Hindustan Unilever Limited, Detergent Factory, Vadamangalam, Puducherry over his non-employment is justified or not ? If justified, what relief the petitioner is entitled to?
(b) To compute the relief, if any, awarded in terms of money, if it can be so computed ?

The tenders should be addressed to the Deputy Inspector of Schools, Zone-II, Puducherry, Directorate of School Education, Puducherry superscribing the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of old/unserviceable furniture and other items" so as to reach the undersigned on or before 30-5-2016 at 10.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 12.00 noon and auction will be conducted on the basis of highest rate quoted in the tender. If the tenders opening day happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day. Any incomplete tender received is liable for rejection.
