NOTIFICATION
The following Order of the Lieutenant-Governor, dated 6th June, 2016 is published for general information:—
"ORDER
No. 1-24/2016-LGS.— In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 11 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Pondicherry Legislative Assembly, 1966, I, Dr. Kiran Bedi, Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, hereby appoints Thiru V.P. Sivakolundhu, being a Member of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly to perform the duties of the Speaker until the Speaker shall have been chosen by the Legislative Assembly under section 7 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 (Act No. 20 of 1963).
