GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to declare 12-9-2016 (Monday) as Holiday on account of Bakrid (Id-ul-alha) under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 for Mahe region instead of 13-9-2016 (Tuesday) already declared. The entries in Serial No. 13 of Appendix-I and in Serial No. 14 of Appendix-II of List of Holidays for Mahe region for St. Theresa Festival i.e., Saturday, the 15th October, 2016, which was notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 72, dated 27-10-2015 of Home Department, Puducherry is deleted.

Government Higher Secondary School, Sulthanpet, Puducherry mentioned below for sale by the undersigned in as-is where-is condition.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the tender sale is over/ finalized.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final in case of any dispute.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire amount immediately and clear all the articles within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of the unserviceable furniture and deadstock items will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the furniture and deadstock items during the office hours on any working day in K.Q.M. Government Higher Secondary School, Sulthanpet, Puducherry with the permission of the Storekeeper between 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.. 9. The sale will be effected only to the highest rate quoted bidder.

10. The Government in no way is held responsible for the safe custody of the articles once the auction is confirmed.

11. The Sales tax as per the rate in force will be charged extra on the amount finalized.

12. The tender will be opened on 22-9-2016. If, the tender opening day happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day. Any incomplete tender received is liable for rejection.

The rates for each School should be quoted separately in one cover. The auction will be conducted from the highest rate quoted.

3. The tender will be opened on 6-10-2016 at 4.00 p.m. If the tender opening day happens to be a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender sale is over.
