NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21, read with section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table below, as Special Executive Magistrate with effect from the date of the notification till the completion of election process in connection with the Bye-election to the Puducherry Legislative Assembly for 17-Nellithope Assembly Constituency 2016 in respect of the area specified under column (3) of the said Table below and empowers them to exercise all the powers of the District Magistrate under the said Code :
