The undermentioned General Duty Medical Officers, who were placed on probation for a period of two years are declared to have completed their period of probation satisfactorily in the post on the date noted against their names at column No. 4.

The tenders in plain paper should be sealed and addressed to the Chief Educational Officer, Directorate of School Education, Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of old/condemned furniture items" and sent to reach the undersigned on or before 28-12-2016 at 4.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.15 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers those who are at present. The rates for each School should be quoted separately in one cover.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender sale is over.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire amount and clear the items within 24 hours at their own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the old/ condemned furniture items during office hours on any working day with prior permission of the Headmasters of the concern School listed above, without any disturbance to the students.

7. No claim on the quantity and quality of the DIRECTORATE OF SCHOOL EDUCATION articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable articles of Department of Art and Culture, Puducherry as listed in the Annexure will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by Tender-cum-public auction on 22-12-2016 at 11.30 a.m.

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the Director, Department of Art and Culture, Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable articles" and should reach this office on or before 22-12-2016 at 10.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of tenderers present if any, in the chamber of the undersigned.

2. The tender will be awarded to the highest tenderer of the spot.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) along with sealed tender. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the same day soon after completion of auction.

4. The successful tenderer should pay the entire amount soon after the completion of the auction and should clear the auctioned materials at his own arrangement/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same day failing which the office will not be held responsible either for the safe custody for loss or damage of articles once the auction is over.

5. Sale tax will be charged extra as per the rate applicable at the time of auction.

6. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles will be admitted once the auction is over.

7. The intending tenderers can inspect the unserviceable articles during office hours on any working day before the auction date at the Department of Art and Culture, Puducherry with the permission of the undersigned.

8. The tenders offered after the due date and time

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. If, the tender date fall on a holiday the tender sale will be held on the next working day.

10. Auction sale is subject to the discretion of the undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any dispute.
