AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in rule 5, for the words and figures thereof,

the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"5. Nature of Assistance.— A Scheduled Caste patient who fulfils the eligibility conditions will be given ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) as Financial Assistance every month till recovery of his or her illness, it shall be released only by (Aadhaar Payment Bridge) APB/ECS. For every year, the beneficiaries shall be asked to produce a certificate obtained from the Medical Officer regarding progress of his or her health condition. On the basis of the certificate, the Director shall decide whether to continue the assistance to the applicant beyond this period or otherwise".

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the

date of issue.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

vide I.D. No. 2074/FC/FD/F5/A2, dated 11-10-2016.
