NOTIFICATION
I n e x e r c i s e o f t h e p o w e r s c o n f e r r e d b y s e c t i o n 3 1 o f
th e P ud ucherr y Va lue Ad d e d Tax Ac t, 2 0 0 7 ( Ac t N o . 9 o f 2 0 0 7 )
and all other powers enabling in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public

interest, is pleased to rescind the notification issued in G. O. Ms.
No. 10/A1/CT/2017, dated 31st January, 2017 of the Commercial Taxes
Secretariat, Government of Puducherry and published in the
Extraordinary Gazette of Puducherry, Part-II, No. 4, dated 31st January,
2017, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such
rescission.
2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the
1st day of April, 2017.

NOTIFICATION
I n exercise o f the po wer s co nfer red b y sub-sectio n (1) of
section 75 of the Puducherry Value Added Tax Act, 2007 (Act No. 9
o f 2 0 0 7 ) and all other powers enabling in this behalf, the
Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry being satisfied that it is necessary so
to do in the public interest, is pleased to amend the Schedules to the
said Act, namely:– "2. Petrol
3. Diesel".

NOTIFICATION
I n e x e r c i s e o f t h e p o we r s c o n f e r r e d b y s e c t i o n 3 1 o f t h e
P ud ucher r y Value Ad d ed Tax Act, 2 0 0 7 ( Act No . 9 o f 2 0 0 7 ) and
all other powers enabling in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public
interest, is pleased to levy the rate of tax payable in respect of,-
(a) Petrol at 20.15%; and
(b) Diesel at 16.65%
2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the
1st day of April, 2017.
