AMENDMENT

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to make amendments as detailed in the Annexure to the Guidelines for organization of "State School Games Championships" by the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 35, dated 30-3-2012, published in the Extraordinary Gazette Part-I, No. 33, dated 10-4-2012.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their I.D. No. 3037/F4/A4/FC/2017, dated 1-3-2017.

AMENDMENT TO THE GUIDELINES FOR ORGANIZATION OF

"STATE SCHOOL GAMES CHAMPIONSHIPS" BY THE DIRECTORATE OF SCHOOL EDUCATION,

PUDUCHERRY

In the G.O. Ms. No. 35, dated 30-3-2012 of the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry, the Tabulation under sub-para 4.1.3 shall be substituted with the following Tabulation, namely:—

The Tabulation (i) and (ii) given under sub-para 6.3.2 of para 6, shall be substituted with the following, namely:—

After sub-para 8.1.11 of para 8, the following shall be inserted as sub-para 8.1.12 namely:—

8.1.12 The Boys and Girls Team for Yogasana Championship shall consist of 5 members each. The rules and regulations of National School Games Federation for Yogasana Competition for Boys and Girls as applicable from time to time shall be followed.

Sub-para 9.1.4 and 9.3.8 of para 9, shall be substituted with the following, namely:—

9.1.4 Organizational expenditure:— Refreshment to officials, ground preparation, labour charges, printing charges of merit certificate, preparation of chest numbers to athletes, public address system and miscellaneous expenditure @ ` 26,500 per Zone for Zone-I to VI each and ` 21,500 for Zone-VII and VIII each.

9.3.8 Organizational expenditure:— (i) Group-I Puducherry region : ` 1,02,000 (Invitation and Merit certificate, refreshment to the games and athletics officials, refreshment and honouring the VIPs and guests, stage, decoration, shamiyana, public address system, minor repairs to sanitation, lighting, water supply and maintenance at the place of accommodation of students, banners, badges and chest numbers of athletes, ground preparation chunnam, river sand, information brochure, engagement of 5 labour per day for 4 days for common works related to this scheme, miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses, etc.).
