NOTIFICATION
As per sub-rule(1) of rule-5 of the Puducherry Municipalities (Assessment of Annual Rental Value of Buildings (Houses) Rules, 2000, for every five years House tax and Property tax are to be revised. Based on the Rules, Local Administration Secretariat, Government of Puducherry, through G.O. Ms. No. 33/LAS/2017, dated 9-3-2017 has revised the house tax and property tax for a period of 5 years only, from 1-4-2017 to 31-3-2022. The rate has been revised for one square foot annual rental value as per the location of buildings and houses, their usage and type of construction.
