TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for a sale of unserviceable items in a lot system belonging to this Institute in as-is-where-is condition.
2. The intending bidders may inspect the items at the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. on 5-6-2017 and 6-6-2017 with the permission of the officer concerned. Copies of tender schedule can be had in person on payment of ` 100 plus Sales tax/VAT as admissible (non-refundable).
3. Sealed tenders in the prescribed tender form addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry superscribed as "Tender for sale of unserviceable articles" should reach this office 4. Tenders will be opened on 7-6-2017 at 4.30 p.m. at the office of the undersigned in the presence of the tenderers who are present at the time of opening.
5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the undersigned, the public auction will be conducted on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid.
6. The following self attested photo copy of the documents/certificates must be enclosed alongwith tender.

(c) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid Driving Licence.

7. Individuals/partner of a firm who have/has been punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any Criminal Case is under process, is not eligible for participating in the Tender-cum-Auction. Any false representation is found during the tender process, the tender offered by him/them will be cancelled and his/ their earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
8. If any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the tender process, the tenderer(s) will be removed from the place of auction, also his/their tender will be rejected and the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
9. The earnest money deposit of the successful tenderer will be adjusted against the sale proceeds and the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be discharged/returned immediately.
10. Any other person than the tenderer or his authorized person will not be admitted at the time of opening the tenders and auction.
11. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to the successful tenderer after finalization of the tender.
Successful tenderer only will be allowed to clear/ remove the materials.
12. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of articles plus applicable Sales tax/VAT and make his own arrangements to clear/remove the articles immediately.
