ORDER
The Government of Puducherry has decided to entrust the task of admission to various Postgraduate programmes for the Academic year 2017-18 to be carried out by a Centralized Admission Committee-Postgraduate Courses (CENTAC-PG-ENGINEERING), Puducherry. The various programmes are M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Phil., M.C.A. and M.B.A. being offered by Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry and various Unaided Private Professional Institutions functioning in the Union territory of Puducherry. The admission shall be carried out by the CENTAC-PG for the seats in the Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry and for the Government quota seats allocated in various Unaided Private LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 1390 1390 2. Accordingly, the Centralized Admission Committee-Postgraduate Courses (CENTAC-PG viz., M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Phil., M.C.A. and M.B.A.) for admission of candidates to the abovesaid Postgraduate Professional Programmes for the Academic year 2017-18 is constituted hereby with the following composition:
(1) Secretary to Government (Education) . . Chairman
(2) Director of Higher and Technical Education . . Member
(3) Dean, College Development Council, Pondicherry . . Member
University.
(4) Dr. R. Manoharan, Professor, Department of Computer . . Coordinator

3. Convenor and Coordinators :
In order to coordinate and regulate the various activities connected with admission of candidates to the abovesaid programmes for the Academic year 2017-18, Dr. P. Dananjayan, Principal, Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry shall be the Convenor, CENTAC-PG (Engineering), and Dr. R. Manoharan, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, P ond icher ry Engineer ing College, Puducherry shall be the Coordinator for CENTAC-PG (Engineering) and they shall be in-charge for the counseling, leading to the abovesaid admission.
4. The eligibility criteria and procedure for the admission of candidates to various Postgraduate Programmes shall be notified separately.
