Consequent to the decision taken by the Hon'ble Full Court of the High Court of Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherr y b eing the Appointing Authority hereby Orders, the compulsory retirement of Thiru E.M.K.S. Siddharthar, District Judge (Entry Level) of the Puducherry Judicial Service, now functioning as the Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat, Vellore, from service, in public interest, under F.R. 56(j), with effect from the date of service of Government Order, along with payment of three months pay and allowances in lieu of three months notice.

Ms. No. 4/PRD/98/A1, dated 17-7-1998 of Planning and Research Department, Puducherry, the tentative seniority list of Joint Directors in Planning and Research Department who were appointed upto 10-2-2016 was circulated to all concerned vide this Department's Circular No. 1817/PRD/Estt./JD/Seniority/ 2017, dated 21-8-2017, calling for objections if any, to the seniority proposed to be assigned to them.

2. As no objections were received, the final seniority list of Joint Directors in Planning and Research Department, Puducherry shall be as indicated in the Annexure to this order.

The tenders in sealed cover superscribing as "Tender for purchase of condemned/unserviceable/worn out items" should be addressed to the Office of the Executive Engineer (Planning), Central Office, Public Works Department, Puducherry and sent to this office on or before 20-10-2017 at 10.00 hours. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.00 hours in the presence of the tenderers present at that time. If, the day for opening the tenders happens to be a public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be received and opened by the same time on the next working day.

4. Based on the highest quoting on the sealed tenders, the open auction will be conducted at 11.30 hours on the same day.
