NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908 (Central Act XV of 1908), the following Draft Rules which the Government proposes to make, to further amend the Indian Ports (Puducherry) Rules, 1977, notified in G.O. Ms. No. 100/77-Pt., dated 4th July 1977 of the Health, Electricity and Works Department, Government of Puducherry for revision of vehicle entrance fee for vehicles

plying within the port area, is hereby published as required under
sub-section (2) of section 6 of the said Act for information of all persons
likely to be affected thereby.
2. Notice is hereby given that the said Draft Amendment Rules will
be taken into consideration on the expiry of 30 days from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette of Government of
Puducherry.
3. Objections or suggestions received by the Government from any
person in respect of said Draft Amendment Rules within the period
specified above, will be considered by the Government.
4. Objections or suggestions if any, should be addressed to the
Secretary to Government (Ports), Chief Secretariat, Government of
Puducherry.
DRAFT AMENDMENT RULES
INDIAN PORTS (PUDUCHERRY) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2017
1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) These rules may
be called the "Indian Ports (Puducherry) (Amendment) Rules, 2017".
(2) They shall come into force from the date of issue of the
notification.
2. Amendment of rule 2.— (1) In the Indian Ports (Puducherry)
Rules, 1977, for existing entry (1) under sub-rule (2) of rule 2, the following
shall be substituted, namely:—
"(1) Lorry and Tractor ` 23 for each entry at the Port"
3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department
vide their I.D. No. 2630/FC/FD/F4/A1/17, dated 15-12-2017.

NOTIFICATION
The following Draft of the proposal for regulating the collection of Landing and Shipping Fee in Pondicherry Port, which the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry hereby proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Puducherry Landing and Shipping Fees Act, 1971 (Act No. 16 of 1971), to amend the Puducherry Landing and Shipping Fees Rules, 1976, notified vide Notification in G.O. Ms. No. 25/76 pt., dated 13th February, 1976 of the Health, Electricity and Works Department, Government of Puducherry and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 67, dated 25th February 1976, namely:—
DRAFT RULES
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the "Puducherry Landing and Shipping Fees (Amendment) Rules, 2018".
(2) They shall come into force with effect from the date of issue
of the notification.
2. Amendment of Schedule.— In the Annexure appended to the Puducherry Landing and Shipping Fees Rules, 1976, for serial number 3 under the Details of Articles "3 – other cargos"" and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) to (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:—
