DEMAND PRIOR TO ATTACHMENT OF LAND TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are invited for the sale of Tamil and English old newspapers belonging to this office.
Rate per kilogram Notice of demand to Thiru K. Deivanayagam, S/o. Krishnamurthy, Proprietor of M/s. Calpana Service Station, Sulthanpet, Kurumbapet Revenue Village, Puducherry in Villianur Taluk jurisdiction.

Take notice that the Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Villianur, demand from you the sum of ` 60,66,363 (Rupees sixty lakhs sixty-six thousand three hundred and sixty-three only) together with interest towards a r r e a r s o f Ta x a n d P e n a l t y p a y a b l e t o t h e Commissioner (CT), Commercial Taxes Department, Puducherry, due by you for the holder of the Lands/Buildings comprised Re- survey No. 145/5 in Kurumbapet Revenue Village and that you are required to pay the amount within 15 days from the date of the service of this Notice.

GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY 1. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed as "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers" and addressed to the Chief of Government Pharmacy, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry-605 006, should reach this office before 12.30 p.m. on or before 07-3-2018. The tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of all the tenderers.

NOTICE OF ATTACHMENT
2. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) in cash as earnest money deposit before participating in the tender sale and the same will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers immediately after the tender sale is over.
3. T h e i n t e n d i n g t e n d e r e r s m a y i n s p e c t t h e old newspapers during office hours on any working day after 01-3-2018 with the permission of the undersigned.

Take notice that as you have not paid or shown sufficient cause for the non-payment of ` 60,66,363 (Rupees sixty lakhs sixty-six thousand three hundred and sixty-three only) together with interest towards arrears of Tax and Penalty payable to the Commissioner (CT), Commercial Taxes Department, Puducherry, due by you for the ho ld er o f the Lands/ B uild ings co mp rised Re-survey No. 145/5 in Kurumbapet Revenue Village and that you are required to pay the amount within 15 days from the date of the service of this Notice.
4. No claim on the quality and quantity of the newspapers will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
5. The successful tenderer should arrange to weigh the old newspapers and pay the cost and GST applicable immediately and remove the old newspapers within 24 hours at his own expenses from the office premises, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited in full.
6. The undersigned reserves the right either to accept or reject all tenders or to postpone the tender sale without assigning any reasons thereof.
7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final and binding.
