4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 500 (Rupees Five hundred only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately Thirumalairayanpattinam, the 8th May 2018.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned offering the rate per kilogram for purchase of old newspapers and magazines (Tamil and English) and corrugated boxes as mentioned below.

2. The rate should be quoted for each item separately.

Rate per kilogram ( 1 ) Old Tamil newspapers . . ` ( 2 ) Old English newspapers . . ` ( 3 ) Old Tamil magazines . . ` ( 4 ) Old English magazines . . ` ( 5 ) Corrugated boxes . . ` 3. T h e t e n d e r s in sealed covers superscribed as "Tender for the purchase of old Tamil and English newspapers and magazines" should be addressed to the Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute for Men, T. R. Pattinam, Karaikal and sent to this office, so as to reach before 11.00 a.m. on 20-6-2018. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers who are present at that time. In case, the day for tender opening day declared as public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be received and opened at the same time on the next working day.

5. The tenders received after the due date and time will not be accepted under any circumstances.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof. Contravention of the rules of the tender notice will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the entire amount immediately and clear the items within 24 hours from the time of the tender is over at his/her own risk and cost, failing which his/her earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

8. The GST as per the rate in force will be charged extra on the amount finalised.

9. No claim on the quality, quantity and value of the said goods will be entertained, once the tender is finalised.

10. The materials can be inspected during office hours on 19-6-2018 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
