Order under section 8 (2) (a) of the Puducherry Prevention of
Anti-Social Activities Act, 2008 and under section 82 of Cr. P.C. requiring the
appearance of absconding person under Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social
Activities Act, 2008
ORDER
Whereas, a detention order was issued against Thiru Sivaraman @ Sivaramakrishnan, No. 7, Mariamman Koil Street, Venkata Nagar, Sagadapet, Thirubuvanai (Post), Puducherry, vide Order No. 04/DM/RO/D2/PPASAA/2018, dated 12-7-2018 under the provisions of Puducherry Prevention of Anti-Social LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 1502 1502 Activities Act, 2008 (Act No. 10 of 2010) and the said detention order had also been approved by the Government of Puducherry vide G.O. Ms. No. 39, dated 23-7-2018 of Home Department, Puducherry;
And whereas, the Superintendent of Police (West), Puducherry, has reported that from the date of issue of detention order, the abovesaid person is found absconded and is evading the execution of the said detention order and his whereabouts are not known, and all necessary efforts were taken by Station House Officer, Mangalam Police Station, Puducherry to secure and detain Thiru Sivaraman @ Sivaramakrishnan under the abovesaid detention order, but, still he is found absconding, concealing himself and evading his arrest and efforts are being continued to execute the detention order made against him;
And whereas, it has been shown to my satisfaction that Thiru Sivaraman @ Sivaramakrishnan has absconded or is concealing himself and evading his arrest;
Therefore, the said absconding person Thiru Sivaraman @ Sivaramakrishnan, No. 7, Mariamman Koil Street, Venkata Nagar, Sagadapet, Thirubuvanai (Post), Puducherry, is hereby ordered to appear before the undersigned at the Office of the District Collector-cum-District Magistrate, located at I Floor, Vazhudavur Road, near Rani Hospital, Kavundanpalayam, Puducherry-605 009, to answer the report of the Superintendent of Police (West), Puducherry on the 31st day of December 2018.
