NOTICE OF SALE OF LAND

It is hereby notified that the undermentioned land selected act of those, attached in satisfaction of arrears of land revenue due by Thiru Veerasamy, S/o. Maniyan, Proprietor of M/s. Amurtham Petroleum Agencies, Madagadipet, Puducherry, of the present registered land holder and a revenue defaulter will be sold by Government e-auction on the 15th day of February 2019 by 11.00 a.m. (or on another day to which the sale may be adjourned) the lands will be knocked down to the highest bidder.

2. The current revenue payable by the purchase on the land for the whole (or remainder, as the case may be) of the current fasli in ` 5,94,000 (Rupees five lakh ninety four thousand only) as shown in detail in the statement at foot.

3. Purchasers will be required to deposit 15% of the purchase money at the time of sale, and if, they fail to pay the remainder of the purchase money within 30 days from the day of sale, the money deposited by them shall be liable to forfeiture.

4. When such deposit shall not be made, nor the remaining purchase money paid up the lands will be resold at the expense and risk of the first purchaser.

5. Persons bidding at a sale may be required to state whether they bid on their own account or as agents, and in the latter case to deposit a written authority signed by their principals; otherwise, their bids may be rejected.

6. The sale shall be stayed if, the defaulter or other person acting on his behalf or claiming an interest in the land, tender the full amount of the arrears of revenue with interest and other charges, provided such tender be made before sunset on the day previous to that appointed for the sale.

7. The sale will not be final until confirmed by the Collector or other Officer empowered in that behalf, and a period of thirty days will be allowed between sale and confirmation to admit of parties aggrieved by any proceedings in connection with such sales presenting appeals. On confirmation of the sale, the lands will be registered in the name of the purchaser, and a certificate of sale signed and sealed by the Collector will be granted to him.

8. It is to be distinctly understood that the Government is not responsible for errors either in the description of the lands or in their estimated extent.

9. Purchasers will also understand that the assessment payable to the Government on the land will be liable to alteration at any general revision of the land revenue settlement of the District.

10. Those who are interested in visiting the property under auction sale can visit the site during office hours from 8.45 a.m. to 5.45 p.m.

Note: This clause should be struck out if, the land proposed to be sold is held in other than Ryotwari tenure.

AUCTION NOTICE

It is hereby notified that the undermentioned lands attached in satisfaction of arrears of Commercial Tax due by Thiru Veerasamy, S/o. Maniyan, Proprietor of M/s. Amurtham Petroleum Agencies, Madagadipet, the present registered landholder/interested person and a revenue defaulter will be sold by e-auction in the website www.eauction.gov.in on the 15th day of February, 2019 by 11.00 a.m. or on an another day to which the sale may be adjourned and the auction will be knocked down to the highest bidder.

2. The minimum price payable by the purchaser of the land is ` 5,94,000 (Rupees five lakh ninety-four thousand only).

3. e-auction of the land will be held through the website www.eauction.gov.in in "as-is-where-is" condition.

4. All the interesting bidders are compulsorily required to possess Digital Signature Certificate. The conditions and training classes for the participants are imparted at e-Procurement cell at the Chief Secretariat, Puducherry.

5. Purchasers will be required to deposit 15% of the purchase money before the sale and if, they fail to pay the remaining amount within 30 days from the day of sale, the money deposited by them shall be liable to forfeiture.

6. The purchasers have to cautiously ascertain the veracity of the documents, ownership of the property, extent and encumbrance if any, before participating in the bid on their own.

7. The copies of documents and Encumbrance Certificate pertaining to the property can be downloaded from the website www.eauction.gov.in through Auction ID. The bidders shall possess PAN.

8. Necessary arrangements will be made by this Office for the participants of the bid to visit the land to be auctioned.

9. The Government will not be responsible for the mistakes if any, regarding the details and extent of the land.

10. The sale will not be final until confirmed by the Collector or other Officer empowered in that behalf.

The authorised Officer has every right to accept the bid amount, reject, adjourn or cancel the bid without citing any reason.

11. The purchaser of the land has to bear the expenses regarding Sale Deed, Registration fees, Stamp fee, Tax relating to the property and other miscellaneous legal expenses. The Sale Deed will be registered in the name of the successful bidder.

12. After completion of the e-auction, the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be refunded.

13. The auction is subject to The Puducherry Revenue Recovery Act, 1970 and the terms and conditions mentioned above.

14. The details of the immovable property to be auctioned, the earnest money deposit to be paid by the bidder to the Department, terms and conditions and security deposit can be learnt through the website www.eauction.gov.in.
