NOTIFICATION
The National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has issued Guidelines on National School Safety Policy, 2016, with the primary objective to ensure creation of safe learning environment and safety against all kinds of hazards for the children. The policy, inter alia, for effective implementation contemplates to constitute a District Level Advisory Committee on School Safety by the District Disaster Management Authority.
2. In pursuance to the School Safety Policy and as per sub-section (1) of section 28 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 (Central Act 53 of 2005), the District Disaster Management Authority, Puducherry, hereby constitutes LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 122 122 a District Level Advisory Committee on School Safety, Puducherry, consisting of the following officers, namely:-
