NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Puducherry Prevention of Anti-social Activities Act, 2008 (Act No. 10 of 2010), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, having been satisfied that the circumstances prevailing in the Union territory of Puducherry are likely to create a tense law and order situation and it is necessary so to do hereby directs the District Magistrate, Puducherry and Karaikal, shall also exercise the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act in respect of their jurisdiction for a further period of six months from 14-03-2019.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20, read with section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints Shri Pravimal Abhishek Polumatia, I.A.S., (Probationer) Assistant Collector (Training), Puducherry District as Executive Magistrate for the period from 28-01-2019 to till the completion of training for the whole Union territory of Puducherry and empowers him to exercise all the powers of an Executive Magistrate under the said Code.
