TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for a sale of unserviceable items in a lot system belonging to this Institution in "as-is-where-is" condition.

2. The intending bidders may inspect the items at the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. on 03-06-2019 and 04-06-2019 with the permission of the officer concerned. Sale of tender Form can be had in person on payment of ` 100 plus GST as admissible (non-refundable) from 03-06-2019 to 04-06-2019 up to 12.30 p.m.

3. Seated tenders in the prescribed tender Form addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherrry superscribed as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable articles" should reach this office on or before 04-06-2019 by 1.00 p.m. Each tenderer shall enclose a Demand Draft for an amount of ` 20,000, drawn in favour of the Junior Accounts Officer, Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry, as earnest money deposit.

4. Tenders will be opened on 04-06-2019 at 3.30 p.m. at the office of the undersigned in the presence of the tenderers who are present at the time of opening.

5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the bidder is found to be not acceptable by the undersigned, public auction will be conducted on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid.

9. The earnest money deposit of the successful tenderer will be adjusted against the sale proceeds and the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenders will be discharged/returned immediately.

10. Other than the tenderer or his authorized person will not be admitted at the time of opening the tender and auction.

11. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to the successful tenderer after finalisation of the tender.

Successful tenderer only will be allowed to clear/remove the materials.

12. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of articles plus applicable GST and make his/her own arrangement to clear/remove the articles immediately.

Otherwise, the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

13. This office will not be in any way held responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold articles. Once the tender is finalised, no claim on the quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.

14. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be final and binding on all the tenders.

6. The following self attested photocopy of the documents/certificates must be enclosed alongwith tender:–

(a) Valid GST Certificate

(c) Aadhaar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid Driving Licence. Tenders without these certificates/documents will be rejected.

7. Individuals/Partner of a firm, who have/has been punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any criminal case is under process, is not eligible for participating in the Tender-cum-Auction. Any false representation is found during the tender process, the tender offered by him/them will be cancelled and his/their earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram (including GST) are invited for the purchase of old newspapers and magazines (except the Gazette of Puducherry) in Tamil and English belonging to the Library from 1-4-2018 to 31-3-2019. The rate should be quoted for each item as follows:

kilogram (1) Old Tamil newspapers . . ` (2) Old English newspapers . . ` (3) Old Tamil magazines . . ` (4) Old English magazines . . ` T h e sealed tenders should be addressed to the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science College, Karaikal, duly superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for purchase of old newspapers and magazines" and to reach this office on or before 06-06-2019 at 11.00 a.m. Tenders will be opened at 11.00 a.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers at the Office of the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science College, Karaikal.

The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender is over. Tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof. The old newspapers and magazines will b e weighed by th e electronic weighing-ma chin e a vai lab l e in the College.

The successful tenderer should pay the full a m o u n t i m m e d i a t e l y a n d c l e a r t h e i t e m s wi t h i n 24 hours at his/her own cost and risk, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles will be admitted, once the tender is finalised.
