CORRIGENDUM/ADDENDUM
In partial modification of the Gazette notification vide No. 36-26/Rev./MM/2016-17, dated 22-03-2017, published in the Extraordinary Gazette, Part-II, No. 15, dated 31-03-2017 and subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum, dated 09-08-2017, published in the Extraordinary Gazette, Part-II, No. 53, dated 18-08-2017, the following further changes is hereby published as Draft Bye-laws for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice are hereby given that the said Bye-laws shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of 30 (Thirty) days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

CHAPTER-X (Levy of carrying charge for littering in public premises) shall be revised as follows:
Whoever contravenes the provisions of bye-law 4 by littering in public places shall be liable to pay on Government owned land.

Further, serious violation like dumping waste in the sea, river, walkway or other hotspot and repeat offenders will attract penalty ranging from ` 2,000 to ` 20,000 depending on the gravity of the offence.
The other contents of the notification vide No. 36-26/ Rev./MM/2016-17, dated 22-03-2017 and Corrigendum/ Addendum, dated 09-08-2017 remains unchanged.

CORRIGENDUM
In the G.O. Ms. No. 02/LAS/A4/2019, dated 25-4-2019 of the Local Administration Secretariat, Puducherry, published in the Extraordinary Gazette, Part-I, No. 94, dated 30-04-2017, the following shall be substituted in Serial No. 4 of table (a) and (b) namely: as "One Member to be nominated by the Chairman of District Legal Services Authority, Puducherry", instead of "One Member to be nominated by Chairman of Puducherry Legal Services Authority".
