NOTIFICATION
Approval of the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is conveyed for the continuance of the provisions of the Notification vide G.O. Ms. No. 57, dated 1-10-2013 of the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry, for providing financial assistance under the "Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Financial Assistance Scheme (PKFAS)" to the students admitted through Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) and pursuing M.B.,B.S., B.Sc., (Nursing) and B.Tech., Courses in various Unaided Private Professional Colleges of the Union territory of Puducherry, for the Academic year 2018-19, without any modification.
LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [ PART-I 2200 22002. The total number of students eligible for availing the financial assistance under the said Scheme shall stand amended in accordance with the total number of students admitted in M.B.,B.S., B.Sc., (Nursing) and B.Tech., Courses through Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) during the Academic Year 2018-19.
3. The rates of financial assistance shall be the same as notified in (1) G.O. Ms. No. 57, dated 1-10-2013, (2) G.O. Ms. No. 107, dated 1-9-2014, (3) G.O. Ms. No. 21, dated 20-3-2015, (4) G.O. Ms. No. 61, dated 27-10-2015 of the Chief Secretariat (Education), Puducherry and (5) G.O. Ms. No. 30, dated 30-11-2016, and (6) G.O. Ms. No. 36, dated 09-10-2018 of the Chief Secretariat (Higher and Technical Education), Puducherry for M.B.,B.S., B.Sc., (Nursing) and B.Tech., Courses offered in various Unaided Private Professional Colleges of the Union territory of Puducherry.
4. The Finance Department, Puducherry vide their I.D. Note No. 1288/F4/ A4/FC/2019, dated 20-06-2019 has conveyed 'No objection' for the continuance of the abovesaid PKFA Scheme for the Academic year 2018-2019, without any modification.
