In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (Act No. 29 of 2005) and in supersession of the notification issued in the G.O. Ms. No. 59, dated 14-12-2009 and G.O. Ms. No. 34, dated 23-07-2013 of the Home Department, Government of Puducherry, save as r e s p e c t s t h i n g s d o n e o r o mi t t e d t o b e d o ne b e fo r e s uch s up e r se ss io n , the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby pleased to designate the Joint/Additional Secretary to Government (Home), Puducherry, as the Controlling Authority for the purpose of the said Act.
