The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to declare 28th October, 2019 (Monday) as Holiday to all the Government Offices and Educational Institutions in the Puducherry/Karaikal and Yanam regions on account of ''Post Deepavali Festival'' and in lieu thereof 9th November, 2019 (Saturday) will be a working day in the Puducherry/ Karaikal and Yanam regions. This leave is not covered under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

In conformity with rule 11 of the Puducherry Commune Panchayats (Grant of Licences and Permissions) Rules, 1976, promulgated in this Union Territory by the Puducherry Village and Commune Panchayats Act, 1973, objections, if any, to the setting up of the above new industry in the said place are invited to reach the Commissioner, Nedungadu Commune Panchayat within ten days from the date of publication of this notice in the Official Gazette.
The objections, so received within the specified period will be considered by this Commune Panchayat.
