In pursuance of the sanction accorded by the Director of Higher Education vide No. 508/DHTE/SV/ 2019-20 for the disposal of condemned library books, a sealed tender offering the rate per kilogram are invited.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the amount in full immediately and remove the articles at his/her own cost.

6. The Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science College, Karaikal, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

Terms and conditions

1. Te n d e r s superscribing the envelope "Tender for the purchase of condemned library books" should reach the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science College, Karaikal on or before 4-12-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers, if any.

2. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) while submitting tenders.

7. Sales tax at the admissible rate will be collected extra on the sale proceeds.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the old items during working hours with the permission of the Principal.

9. No claim about quality and quantity of the articles will be entertained.

10. In case of dispute, if any, the decision of the Principal will be the final and binding all concerned.
