(UNDER SECTION 144 OF Cr. P.C.)
Whereas, in view of the visit of the Hon'ble President of India to Karaikal on 24-12-2019, various security arrangements are being taken by the District Administration.
And whereas, as a measure to beef-up security there shall be restriction on the aerial photography or videography in any form such as by use of drone cameras, flying balloons, etc. Hence, there is sufficient ground for proceeding under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, to prevent aerial photography or videography in any form such as by use of drone cameras, flying balloons, etc.

District Magistrate, Karaikal, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, do hereby prohibit aerial photography or videography in any form such as by use of drone cameras, flying balloons or by any other aviated devices in Karaikal District on 24-12-2019 on account of the visit of the Hon'ble President of India to Karaikal.
The emergent nature of the case and circumstances do not permit serving notice to the concerned in due time and hence, this order is passed ex parte under section 144 (2) of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973.
