(1) Th ese rules may be called the Puduc herry Ju di cial Subor dinate Ser vice (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall c ome into fo rce from t he date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.

In th e Pudu ch erry Ju dicial
Subordinate Service Rules, 1979 (hereinafter referred t o a s t he s a i d r u l es ) , i n P a r t - III, i n ru l e 1 3 , f o r t he e xi s ti ng ru le, the following shall be substi tuted, namely:-
"13. The Selection Committee s hall consist of the following:
—
"(1) Chief Judge, Puducherry Chairman
—
(2 ) Judicia l Offi cer nomina ted by the High Me mber
Court, Madras
—
(3 ) Judicia l Offi cer nomina ted by the High Me mber
Court, Madras".
