NOTIFICATION
In exerose of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the Notification No.F.5/4/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi and in partial modification of the Chief Secretariat (Works), Puducherry, Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 80, dated 1st October, 2015 and published in the Supplement to the Gazette No. 41, dated 13th October 2015, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules, to amend the Government of Puducherry, Public Works Department, 'Work Inspector' Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Public Works Department, 'Work Inspector', Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of the Schedule.— In the said rules, in the Schedule of Recruitment Rules for the post of 'Work Inspector' for entries against column-11, the following shall be added, namely:—
Note-3: The Educational Qualification of SSLC or its equivalent shall not be applicable for the persons holding the feeder posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (Public Works) on regular basis on the date of notification of these rules.

Ms. No. 81, dated 1st October, 2015 and published in the Supplement to the Gazette No. 41, dated 13th October 2015, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules, to amend the Government of Puducherry, Public Works Department, 'Mechanic' Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Public Works Department, 'Mechanic', Recruitment(Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
42. Amendment of the Schedule.— In the said rules, in the Schedule of Recruitment Rules for the post of 'Mechanic' for entries against column-11, the following shall be added, namely:—
