TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are invited from the tenderers for the sale of the following old items for the period from 01-01-2019 to 31-12-2019 belonging to the Police Department, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is condition basis.

Rate per kilogram (1) Old Tamil newspapers . . ` (2) Old English newspapers . . ` (3) Old Tamil magazines . . ` (4) Old English magazines . . ` 2. Sealed te nders should be addressed to the Superintendent of Police (HQ), Puducherry-605 001, duly superscribing on the envelop as "Tender for the purchase of old newspapers and magazines" and reach the undersigned, on or before 03-06-2020 at 4.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened at 5.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers at the office of the undersigned.

3. If necessary, the auction will be conducted among the tenderers to fix the highest rate.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money deposit. Tenderers should submit a copy of the Aadhaar as Identity Card and address proof along with copy of GST Registration Certificate.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tendreres will be refunded immediately soon after the tender/auction sale is over. Tenderers should produce valid I.D. proof for returning their earnest money deposit amount.

6. Tender(s) received after the due date and time will be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount immediately as and when call made and clear the old items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

9. The intending tenderers/bidders should bring electronic weighing machine for weigh the old materials.

10. No claims on the quantity and quality for the articles will be admitted once the tender/auction is finalized.

11. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles during office hours in the Chief Stores, Gorimedu, Puducherry premises.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.

13. Separate rate must be quoted on each item.

14. GST will be collected on the sale of old newspapers and magazines as per the rates prevailing at the time of disposal/sale. Tenderers/bidders registered under GST Act alone shall participate in the tender/auction process.

4. The intending tenderers (individuals/institutions) may inspect the uprooted tree in the premises of Regulated Market, Thattanchavady, Puducherry, belonging to the Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry, on all working days from 25-05-2020 to 29-05-2020 during office hours and up to 12.00 noon on 01-06-2020 with the permission of the Superintendent i/c, Regulated Market, Thattanchavady, Puducherry. The tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected.

5. The Tender Forms could be obtained on payment of ` 50 (Rupees fifty only) from the Cashier, Pondicherry Market Committee. The Tender Forms are not transferable. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as security deposit in cash to the Cashier, Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry. The following self-attested photocopy of the documents/certificates must be enclosed along with the tenders:-

(a) Valid GST/Sales Tax Certificate (for institutions/ dealers)

(b) PAN Card or Aadhaar Card

6. If, the highest tender amount offered by the tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the undersigned, an auction will be conducted on the spot, keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid.

PONDICHERRY MARKET COMMITTEE

(A GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY INSTITUTION)

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders offering the rate per unit are invited for disposal of an uprooted tree in the premises of Regulated Market, Thattanchavady belonging to the Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry, from individuals/institutions in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The rate to be quoted for the entire uprooted as a whole (single unit).

3. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the Secretary, Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry, in the prescribed format, duly superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for uprooted tree" and sent to the undersigned to reach on or before 3.00 p.m. on 01-06-2020. The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers, if any, in the premises of the Secretary, Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry. If, the day for opening the tenders happens to be a public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be received and opened by the same time on the next working day.

7. The security deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender/ auction sale is over.

8. Acceptance of the tender/auction will be intimated to the successful tenderer after finalization of the tenders/auction.

9. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of the article in full including all applicable GST.

10. The Pondicherry Market Committee, Puducherry, will not be in any way held responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold article. Once the tender/ auction is finalized, no claim on the quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof and the decision of the undersigned will be the final and binding on all the tenders.
