NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20, read with section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints Shri A. Asvin Chandru, I.A.S., (Probationer) Assistant Collector (Training), Puducherry District as Executive Magistrate from the date of joining to the completion of training for the whole Union territory of Puducherry and empowers him to exercise all the powers of an Executive Magistrate under the said Code.
