TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for a sale of Hypo Solution, Old X-ray films, X-ray wrappers, Plastic Containers, Gunny bags, Polythene bags and old476 LA GAZETTE DE L'ETAT [28 July 2020 newspapers (Tamil and English) belonging to the Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry, for a period of one year from 7-8-2020 to 6-8-2021.

2. The rate should be quoted for each item as follows:

3. The intending bidders may inspect the items at the office of the undersigned between 10.30 am and 11.30 am on 04-08-2020 and 05-08-2020 with the permission of the officer concerned. Copies of the tender schedule can be had in person on payment of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) plus Sales tax/VAT as admissible (non-refundable).

4. Sealed tenders in the prescribed Tender Form should be addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry, superscribed as "Tender for purchase of Waste Material" should be reach this office on or before 06-08-2020 by 3.00 p.m. Each tender should be enclosed a Demand Draft for an amount of ` 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand) drawn in favour of the Junior Accounts Officer, IGGGHAPGI, Puducherry, as earnest money deposit.

(b) PAN Card

8. Individuals/Partner of a firm(s) who have/has been punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any criminal case is under process, is not eligible for participating in the tender-cum-Auction. Any false representation is found during the tender process, the tender offered by him/them will be cancelled and his/her their EMD will be forfeited.

9. If any/all participant(s) misbehave(s) during the tender process, the tenderer(s) will be removed from the place of auction, also his/her/their tender will be rejected and the EMD will be forfeited.

10. The successful tenderer's EMD amount will be returned after end of the valid period i.e., 07-08-2020 to 06-08-2021 or adjust in the last removal of the items' value. The EMD of unsuccessful tenderers will be discharged/returned immediately. Also the successful tenderer/bidder has to remove the waste items in a monthly basis by settling the amount.

11. Other than tenderer or his/her authorized person will not be admitted at the time of opening the tender and auction.

12. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to the successful bidder after finalization of the tender. Successful tenderer only will be allowed to clear/remove the materials.

13. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of articles plus applicable GST and make his/her own arrangement to clear/remove the articles immediately. Otherwise, the EMD will be forfeited.

14. This office will not be in any way held responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold articles. Once the tender is finalized, no claim on the quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.

15. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be final and binding on all the tenders.

The sealed tenders should be addressed to "The Conservator of Forests, Department of Forests and Wildlife, Puducherry" duly supercribing on the envelope as "Tender for condemend unserviceable items" and sent to the undersigned to reach on or before 03-08-2020 at 11.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers, if any, in the premises of Department of Forests and Wildlife, Puducherry. If, the day for opening the tenders happens to be public holiday for any reasons, the tenders will be received and opened by the same time on the next working day.

The intending tenderers may inspect the items at the Department of Forests and Wildlife, Mullaiagam, Forests Campus, Cuddalore Road, Mudaliarpet, Puducherry, in all working days from 30-07-2020 to 31-07-2020 during office hours with the permission of the Deputy Director (Forests), Department of Forests and Wildlife, Puducherry.
