GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY PUBLIC AUCTION-CUM-RETENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders, on behalf of the President of India, are invited by the Hydrogeologist-I, State Ground Water Unit and Soil Conservation, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009, for the disposal of 23 nos. of old and unserviceable Motors and Pumpsets with its accessories belonging to the Office of the Hvdrogeologist-II, State Ground Water Unit and Soil Conservation, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is condition.

2. Copies of the tender schedules with terms and conditions can be had from this office on payment of ` 125 (Rupees one hundred and twenty-five only) [non- refundable] in person by cash or can be downloaded from this Department's Website https://agri.py.gov.in. the Cost of tender schedule downloaded should be enclosed along with the sealed tenders by a separate Demand Draft for ` 125 (Rupees one hundred and twenty-five only) [non-refundable] drawn in the favour of "The DDO. Office of the Hydrogeologist-II, State Ground Water Unit and Soil Conservation, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009" payable at Puducherry, if, the cost of tender schedule in the form of DD is not enclosed, the tender will summarily be rejected. In pursuance of the Order No. 14020/01/2020-UTS-1, dated 10-07-2020 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, Shri. Ishwar Singh, I.P.S., (AGMU:2004), Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Puducherry, is relieved from this Administration on the afternoon of 24-07-2020 to take up his new assignment in the Government of NCT of Delhi.

3. If, the rate offered by the highest tenderer is found lower than the upset price fixed by the Condemnation Committee, then the public auction will be conducted by the Tender Committee in the presence of the tenderers if any, to finalize the highest bid.

5. Only GST registered vendors will be allowed to participate in the auction along with GST Registration Certificate.

6. No claim about the condition and value of the stores will be admitted once the bid is finalized.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason COMMERCIAL TAXES DEPARTMENT therefor.

AUCTION NOTICE

Old, obsolete and unserviceable articles and old Tamil/English newspapers belonging to this Department m e n t i o n e d b e l o w w i l l b e s o l d i n p u b l i c a u c t i o n in as-is-where-is condition at 4.00 p.m. on 06-08-2020 in the premises of the Commercial Tax Complex, 100 Feet Road, Ellapillaichavady, Pudupalayam, Puducherry-605 005. The auction will be conducted in the presence of the officers of this Department. 9. If, the auction day happens to be a public holiday for any reason, the auction will be conducted on the next working day.

10. The bidders are strictly forbidden to form any group discussion or quarrel inside the hall during auction. If any violation, they will not be allowed to participate in the auction and will be sent outside.

11. GST will be collected from the highest bidder. The successful bidder shall produce copy of GST paid challan as per the Tax worked out by the Department before taking delivery and also submit an undertaking to the office that he will pay the due tax by filing GST Terms and Conditions

1. The intending bidders should deposit an amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) towards earnest money deposit to the Cashier, Office of the Commissioner (ST), Commercial Taxes Department, Puducherry, before 3.00 p.m. on 06-08-2020 along with GST Registration Certificate. Only those persons who have deposited earnest money will be allowed to participate in the auction.

2. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be refunded immediately after the auction return on RCM basis.

12. The successful bidder should make his/her own arrangement to weigh the old newspapers.

13. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned will be the final.
