The partially modified list of items and norms of assistance from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) in the wake of COVID-19 virus outbreak in India, communicated by the Disaster Management Division of Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, as Annexure to their letter No. 33-04/2020-NDM-I, dated 14-07-2020, is republished for general information.

The Modified List of items and norms of assistance from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF)
in the wake of COVID-19 virus outbreak.

| 1. | M e a s u r e s f o r q u a r a n t i n e , s a m p l e collection and screening (a) P r o v i s i o n s f o r t e m p o r a r y acco mmod atio n, foo d, clo thing, medical care, etc., for people affected and sheltered in quarantine camps (other than home quarantine) or for cluster containment operations. (b) Cost of consumables for sample collection. (c) Support for checking, screening. | Total expenditure on account of items 1 and 2 should not exceed 35 % of the annual allocation of the SDRF. As such funding percentage of SDRF between these two items is interchangeable, subject to overall capping 35%. In these items, the other terms and conditions of the norms of assistance shall remain the same as earlier. |
| 2. | Procurement of essential equipments/ labs for response to COVID-19 (a) Cost of setting up additional testing laboratories within the Government and the cost of consumables. (b) C o s t o f p e r s o n a l p r o t e c t i o n equipment for Healthcare, Municipal, Police and Fire authorities. (c) Cost of thermal scanners, ventilators, air purifiers and consumables for Government hospitals. |
Note:- 1. SEC shall ensure overall oversight mechanism, so that no duplication takes place with reference to other Government schemes.
2. Any amount spent by the State for COVID-19, over and above the ceiling, would be borne out of the resources of the State Government and not from SDRF.
