TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram (excluding Sales tax) are invited for the disposal of o ld d ailies and Magazines/Weeklies accumulated in Go ver nment Lib r aries in Mahe, Office o f the Chief Educational Officer, Mahe and Government Schools under the control of the Chief Educational Officer, Mahe.
The rate should be quoted per kilogram for the following items seprately.
Rate per kilogram (1) Old English newspapers . . ` (2) Old Malayalam newspapers . . ` (3) Old Magazines/Weeklies . . ` (Big size)
(4) Old Magazines/Weeklies . . ` (Medium size)
(5) Old Magazines/Weeklies . . ` (Small size)
2. The sealed t e n d e r s should be addressed to the Chief Educational Officer, Mahe duly superscribing o n t h e e n v e l o p a s "Te n d e r f o r t h e p u r c h a s e o f old dailies and Magazines/Weeklies" and to reach the undersigned on or before 11.00 a.m. on 15-9-2020. The tenders will be opened at 12.00. noon on the same day in the presence of the tenderers present in the Office of the Chief Educational Officer, Mahe.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 300 (Rupees three hundred only) as earnest money deposit in cash and it will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers after the acceptance of the highest tender/finalisation of the tender. Tenders without the above earnest money deposit will not be taken into consideration.
4. The tenders received after the due date and time will be rejected.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount immediately as and when call made and clear the old items within two days at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
6. The intending tenderers can see the articles during office hours on all working days.
7. The successful tenderer should make his own arrangements for weighing the articles.
8. GST will be collected extra as per the rate applicable.
9. No claim on the quantity of the articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
