NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the G.O. Ms. No. 37/Ag., dated 18-03-2020 of Chief Secretariat (Agriculture), Puducherry, published in the Extraordinary Gazette Part-II, No. 16, dated 07-04-2020, the Hon'ble Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to approve the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare under the "Nammazhvar Agriculture Rejuvenation Mission" for extension and

enhancement of financial assistance of the components "Extending subsidy on cultivation expenses/production incentive to farmers cultivating field crops in lieu of input and back-ended investment subsidy under Crop Production Technology (CPT) Scheme'' and for providing additional financial assistance for the Scheduled Caste farmers and for the said purpose, hereby makes further Addendum to the G.O at Para 4 (i) and (iv) and Clause II (i) and (iv) and Clause III (v) and (vi) of the Guidelines as follows:-

C. Eligibility Criteria

| III (v) | Eligibility Criteria :- T h e f a r m e r s s h a l l n e c e s s a r i l y u s e t h e certified seeds of paddy p r o d u c e d b y t h e D e p a r t m e n t o f Agriculture and Farmers W e l f a r e / P K K V K / PAJANCOA to the extent of its availability. | Eligibility Criteria:- The farmers shall necessarily use the certified seeds of paddy produced by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare/ PKKVK/ PAJANCOA to the extent of its availability availing a subsidy of ` 10/kg. for General Farmers and 75% subsidy for SC farmers at the time of purchase and the subsidy cost will be deducted from the production incentive payable to the farmers under the revised pattern of Assistance to the farmers by the Department. |
| III (vi) | vi. Similarly the bio- fertilizers and bio- p e s t i c i d e s / f u n g i c i d e s shall be used as per recommendations of the D e p a r t m e n t . T h e Department shall make recommendation in a manner so as to maximize the benefit to the farmers. | vi. Similarly the bio-fertilizers and bio-pesticides/fungicides shall be purchased as per recommendations of the Department to the extent of its availability in Government agencies by availing 75% subsidy for General Farmers and 100 % subsidy for SC farmers at the time of purchase. The subsidy portion involved will be deducted in the production incentive payable to the farmers under the revised pattern of Assistance. The D e p a r t m e n t s h a l l m a k e recommendation in a manner so as to maximize the benefit to the farmers. |
