Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby notifies that all the public service vehicles as defined under clause (35) of section 2 of the Act, which are registered up to 31-12-2018 and are covered under rule 125H of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, as amended from time to time, shall be fitted with Vehicle Location Tracking Device (VLTDs) and one or more Emergency Buttons conforming to the specifications as prescribed in the said rule, on or before 31-03-2021.
