TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of unserviceable/obsolete articles such as wooden, steel and other items of aluminium, stainless steel, brass, etc., belonging to this Institution in "as-is-where-is" condition.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items in the premises of Thiruvalluvar Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, La Porte Street, Puducherry, without disturbance to the students during office hours on 15-3-2021 and 16-3-2021 with prior permission of the Head of this Institution.

3. Tenders should be addressed to the "Vice-Principal, Thiruvalluvar Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Puducherry-605 001, duly sealed and superscribed on the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of old unserviceable obsolete articles" and shall reach the undersigned on or before 17-3-2021 at 3.00 p.m. The received tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.45 p.m. in the presence of tenderers or their authorised representatives who are present. The acution will be conducted from the highest rate quoted. If, the scheduled date of tender/auction happens to be a public holiday, the date of receipt and opening of tenders will automatically be postponed to next working day at the same time.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of ` 300 (Rupees three hundred only) as earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender/ auction sale is over.

6. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the entire amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his/her own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the items will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is finalised.

8. The GST at the rate applicable will be charged.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Vice-Principal, Thiruvalluvar Government Girls' Higher Secondary School, Puducherry, will be the final.

Sealed tenders should be addressed to the Deputy Director, Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Puducherry, duly superscribing on the envelope as ''Tender for the purchase of old/unused gunny bags'' and reach this office on or before 19-03-2021 at 10.30 a.m. The tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of tenderers present if any, in the chamber of Deputy Director of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Puducherry.

3. The intending tenderers can inspect the items during office hours in the two places Sedarapet Servo Package and Confed in Packamudayanpet with prior permission.
