NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the Notification No. F5/65-GP., dated 11th January, 1965 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, and in partial modification of the Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 1/AH., dated 24th January 2001 of the Chief Secretariat (Animal Husbandry) and published in the Supplement to the Gazette No. 8, dated 20th February 2001, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Government of Puducherry, Chief Secretariat (Animal Husbandry), Group 'A' post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare, Puducherry, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry, Department of Animal husbandry and Animal Welfare, Group 'A' post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from 01-01-2016, the date of implementation of 7th Central Pay Commission recomendations.
2. Amendment of the Schedule.—In the said rules—
(i) In the Schedule of Recruitment Rules for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon for entries against column (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"4. Level in the Pay Matrix: Level–10 in the Pay Matrix (plus NPA as per Orders issued by Government of India)".
