NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21, read with section 32 of
the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table
in the Annexure as Special Executive Magistrates with effect from 26-02-2021 and
up to the date of completion of election process in connection with the General
Elections to Puducherry Legislative Assembly, 2021, in respect of the area specified
under column(3) of the said Table and empowers them to exercise all the powers of
the Executive Magistrate under the said Code.
