Election Commission of India in view of the General Elections to Puducherry Legislative Assembly 2021, has issued various instructions vide Standard Operating Procedure for last 48 hours, to restrict the assembly/movement of people by invoking the provisions of section 144 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The Polling for the said Elections is scheduled on 06-04-2021.
