NOTIFICATION
Whereas, an Award in I.D (T) No. 01/2020, dated 22-02-2021 of the Industrial Tribunal-Cum-Labour Court, Puducherry, in respect of the industrial dispute between the management of M/s. Puducherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Puducherry and the Union workmen represented by PIMS Puduvai Manila Pattali Thozhir Sangam, Puducherry, over charter of demands has been received;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947), read with the Notification issued in Labour Department's G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/LAB/L, dated 23-5-1991, it is hereby directed by the Secretary to Government (Labour), that the said Award shall be published in the Official Gazette, Puducherry.

This Industrial Dispute arises out of the reference m a d e b y t h e G o v e r n m e n t o f P u d u c h e r r y v i d e G.O. Rt. No.136/AIL/LAB/T/2019, dated 19-12-2019 of the Labour Department, Puducherry, to resolve the following dispute between the petitioner and the respondent, viz.:-
(i) Whether the dispute raised by the Union workmen represented by PIMS Puduvai Manila Pattali Thozhir Sangam, Puducherry, against the management of M/s. Puducherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Puducherry, over charter of demands such as to revise the Annual increment by 25% of basic wages and VDA; House Rent Allowance by 25%; to fix ` 7,000 as Fixed Dearness Allowance; ` 3,000 as Medical Allowance and other allowances, etc., are justified are not? If justified, what relief the Union workmen are entitled to?
(ii) To compute the relief if any, awarded in terms of money if, it can be so computed?
2. Today, when the case came up for hearing, petitioner notice returned as 'Door Locked'. Already notice sent to the petitioner and the same was also returned as Door Locked, hence, this petition is closed for non-appearance of the petitioner.
